Anthony Bennett Removes Tonsils to Help Sleep Condition

Canadian forward Anthony Bennett, the #1 selection in the 2013 NBA draft had his tonsils removed to help improve his sleep condition, which was discovered in his rookie year.

In his first year, Bennett averaged 4.2 PPG and 3.0 RPG in 52 games, drawing criticism from media and fans for being out of shape, ultimately underachieving as the #1 overall pick.

The Brampton, Ontario product has entered an important off-season of physical and mental development, gearing up for his sophomore season as a Cleveland Cavalier.
